Food Service Worker, Part Time
About the Role

This is a Part-Time Food Service Worker position with rotating shifts and working every other weekend. You will be trained to work in each station within the cafeteria, kitchen, and dish room.
Responsibilities
- Delivers meals, supplies, and equipment to other departments of the hospital
- Prepares the dish room for washing service ware
- Assembles all items needed to run room service
- Serves patient breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals
- Cleans work station after meals served
- Retrieves patient meal carts, disassembles, washes dishes, and restocks
- Completes shift end cleaning assignments and checks out with supervisor
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend and stoop, sort and pick up repetitively dishes and silverware, work quickly with both hands, and read tray tickets while on the Room Service Line.
Requirements
- Some prior food service experience is preferred
- Ability to read and write; basic math skills are helpful
