About the role

The Food Service Worker assists with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and manage meal records
• Ensure proper food storage and adhere to food safety regulations
• Coordinate with the manager to plan menus and monitor food temperatures
• Oversee cleaning tasks, including equipment and storage areas
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended standing
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed

Requirements

• Food Service Certificate (if required)
• Basic literacy
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
