Food Service Worker - Part Time

About the role

The Food Service Worker assists with food and meal preparation, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, and managing meal records and cash receipts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to menus
• Verify transactions and complete daily reports
• Ensure proper food storage and adhere to food safety regulations
• Serve food following schedules and policies
• Operate and care for kitchen equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Supervise food temperature and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist with major cleaning tasks and waste management
• Follow established procedures, safety, and uniform policies
• Support the manager with daily communication and meal planning
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting and extended standing as required

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate if needed
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Work efficiently under pressure
