About the role

The Food Service Worker assists in food and meal preparation, maintains sanitation and kitchen safety, and supports the manager with daily reports and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods
• Serve meals
• Ensure proper food storage
• Adhere to food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Supervise and record food temperatures
• Assist with major cleaning tasks

Requirements

• Food Service Certificate (if required)
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
