FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking immediate part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at our location at 1101 Medical Center Boulevard, Marrero, LA 70072. Online applications are accepted only. Part-time schedules typically run Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts included. More detailed information about the schedule will be provided during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients accurately.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stoves, and refrigerators safely.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils thoroughly.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisors.
• Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Prior food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
