FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME)
About the role
Chartwells K12 is hiring part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Danbury Public Schools - 40 Apple Ridge Road, Danbury, CT 06810. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is part time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.
Requirements
- Prior kitchen experience is required.
Pay
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications
- Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Solves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
