FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME)
About the role
Chartwells K12 is hiring part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Sibley East - 202 Third Avenue Northwest, Arlington, MN 55307. Online applications are accepted only. Part time schedules are Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. More details upon interview.
Responsibilities
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Affirms compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Affirms compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Prior food service experience is preferred, but not required. Willing to train!
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
Basic food preparation skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Pay
$14.00 per hour to $14.75 per hour.
Schedule
