Food Service Worker, Part Time
About the role
The Brandywine Heights Area School District is seeking a dependable, positive, and customer‑focused Food Service Worker to create a welcoming dining experience for students while supporting the efficient operation of the school kitchen and cafeteria. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, serve meals, and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with the highest standards of nutrition, food quality, presentation, and safety, while ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services requirements and USDA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation for student meals.
- Serve meals to students in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and cafeteria environment.
- Follow nutrition, food quality, presentation, and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services requirements and USDA guidelines.

Schedule
Part‑time, 10‑month position. Hours: 3.5 hours per day, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm. Location: Brandywine Heights Intermediate/Middle School Kitchen and Cafeteria.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $13.15 per hour.
