Position Summary Cafeteria Worker Location: Manhattan School District 114 Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-1pm, Part Time, School Schedule We are seeking dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Cafeteria Workers to join our food service team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized cafeteria. Responsibilities Serve food according to established recipes and portion standards.Greet and assist students in a friendly and professional manner.Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, and food service equipment.Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.Assist with stocking, receiving deliveries, and organizing inventory.Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient meal service.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous food service or cafeteria experience is not required.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service and communication skills.Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
