Position Summary
The Food Service Worker Float is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of cashiering and grill cook duties applying excellent customer service
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families and visitors and the kitchen staff
- Support our organizational values while serving a diverse population
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations as set by standards
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Current Washington State Food Handlers Card within seven (7) days of hire
- Previous experience in institutional or restaurant food service preferred
Qualifications
- Open availability needed
- Candidate must be able to get to the following hospitals: Allenmore, Tacoma General, Mary Bridge, Good Samaritan (Puyallup), Auburn Medical Center, and Covington Medical Center after a four to six week training at Tacoma General
