- Operate dishwashers and cart washing stations
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Transportation
- Transport tray carts to wards
- Deliver trays directly to patients' bedside
- Assist patients with transport of their meal trays
Setup
- Set-up serving areas with hot and cold foods
- Stock foods appropriately during meal service
- Identify discrepancies between prescribed diet and food allergies
Food Preparation
- Make cold sandwiches using prepared ingredients
Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing and walking
- Frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending
- Lifts up to 20 pounds unassisted; occasionally lift or move objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance
