About the role

The Food Service Supervisor position at Trinity Services Group oversees inmate labor and team members in the kitchen, ensuring quality food preparation and serving according to assigned tasks and policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, adherence to food safety regulations, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and serving shifts
• Prepare, assist, or instruct inmates and team members in food preparation according to planned menus and recipes
• Ensure proper food storage and sanitation
• Serve food according to department policies and procedures
• Utilize kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and serve food
• Maintain a clean work area and follow facility uniform policy
• Train other food service workers and promote a safe work environment
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• A valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
