Responsibilities
- Participates in the preparation for, and the setup of, individual trays for food distribution.
- Sets-up for meal service, takes food orders, serves residents and cleans ladies lounge and Tarr dining rooms.
- Operates dishwashing machine, food disposal, toaster and heat on demand unit.
- Affords assistance with the passing of trays, collecting of trays and cleaning the tables and chairs on the LEDU units, Welch units and areas served for guest meal service.
- Stocks all work areas and unit kitchenettes.
- Cleans all floor areas in dining rooms, kitchen and dishwashing areas.
- Might be involved in cooking or otherwise preparing foods as directed by cook, chef, or dietary management team.
- Exercises responsibility for training new employees.
- Performs extra cleaning assignments as directed by shift leaders or dietary management team.
- Might be involved in procedures for receiving, documenting, and tray preparation relating to both regular and special diets.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: 8th grade education
- Licenses/Certifications: None
- Other Requirements: Must possess clean personal health and sanitation habits.
Pay
- $14.40 - $18.46 hourly
Schedule
- Proposed Schedule Includes: 5:30am - 2:00pm & 10:30am - 7:15pm shifts
- Weekend hours pay an additional $2.00/hour
