Food Service Worker

Starting pay: $20.09 / hour

About the role

Our restaurant portfolio at the San Jose International Airport includes well-known brands such as Peet's Coffee, Einstein Bros Bagels, and Pizza My Heart. As a Food Service Worker at SSP America, you will play a key role in preparing, serving, selling, and stocking food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a variety of food items.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast food, quick service, coffee, or tea shops, or fast-casual restaurant concepts.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
