Food Service Worker

Responsibilities

• Distribute prepared food from bulk containers to individual portions
• Clean food production equipment
• Store food and assist with quantity food preparation
• Transport food to and from the main kitchen to resident living units

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled hours as needed, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, early evenings, and overtime
• Experience with basic sanitation, hand washing, and safety standards in a food service environment
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and accept work assignment changes as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Experience with food service in an institutional setting
• Experience with safety and sanitation procedures, including recording food temperatures, reducing food waste, and preventing food-borne illness/spoilage
