Responsibilities
- Distribute prepared food from bulk containers to individual portions
- Clean food production equipment
- Store food and assist with quantity food preparation
- Transport food to and from the main kitchen to resident living units
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to work scheduled hours as needed, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, early evenings, and overtime
- Experience with basic sanitation, hand washing, and safety standards in a food service environment
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and accept work assignment changes as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Experience with food service in an institutional setting
- Experience with safety and sanitation procedures, including recording food temperatures, reducing food waste, and preventing food-borne illness/spoilage
