Food Service Worker

Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking a food service worker to provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. This role offers a competitive pay and benefits package, along with tuition and continuing education assistance.

Responsibilities

• Handle, prepare, and serve food in accordance with written menus and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare cafeteria food service and deliver food to customers.
• Restock cafeteria supplies.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to ensure continued availability to customers.
• Assist with cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as needed.
• Engage positively with patients to contribute to their recovery and healing process.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Food Handlers Permit (various options available).
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to work and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently without constant guidance.
• Eagerness to learn and ask questions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented mindset.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• Weekends required.
• Shift: 11 AM to 7 PM.
