FOOD SERVICE WORKER

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Maintain food safety standards during food handling and preparation.
• Cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus meeting nutritional needs of residents.
• Support inventory management and food ordering in the dietary department.
• Provide excellent service during meal times, fostering a positive dining experience for residents.
• Assist with meal preparation tasks as needed.
• Comply with all health regulations and company policies regarding food service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License or valid photo state ID.
• Age of 21 years old or over.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food guidelines.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and residents.
• Attend two-week orientation classes, Monday through Friday.
• Successful completion of a background check, fingerprinting, and employment verification.
