Food Service Worker
Job Summary
The Food Service Worker I at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for supporting the provision of timely and safe food service for customers, including area stocking and sanitation. This role requires strong communication skills to engage effectively within the department and with external customers in daily operations and issue resolution. The Food Service Worker I also utilizes strong organizational skills to complete activities with efficient use of time and budget while ensuring a safe, compliant, and quality food service experience.
Basic Requirements
- Ensures timely, safe food service to customers, plates and serve foods, and stocking of foods.
- Washes dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and rack dishes.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and the facilities.
- Maintains the physical area efficiently and effectively.
- Interacts with internal and external customers effectively and works to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Demonstrates adherence to NMHS’ Mission, Vision and Values Statement & to Service Excellence Standards and serves as a role model to staff.

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Licenses and Certifications: Required.
