About the role

The Food Service Worker assists with food and meal preparation, maintains sanitation and safety standards, and ensures proper storage and presentation of food items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and serve meals
• Manage food safety and cleanliness
• Assist with kitchen equipment and major cleaning tasks
• Coordinate with the manager to follow menus and prepare reports
• Ensure meal standards are met
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Adhere to uniform and PPE policies

Requirements

• Food Service Certificate if required
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Work efficiently under pressure
