The Aging Services Department provides opportunities and support to enhance the quality of life and extend independence for senior citizens in Weber and Morgan Counties, with a focus on the frail elderly and those with significant social and economic needs.
About the role
This position is based at the Senior Center in Morgan, Utah. The role involves working with volunteers to prepare the facility for meal service, including receiving food from the central kitchen, recording food temperatures, setting up the dining area, and cleaning the kitchen and dining area after lunch.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the facility to receive food deliveries from the central kitchen.
- Record food temperatures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Set up the dining area for meal service.
- Clean the kitchen and dining area after lunch.
- Work independently in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain personal hygiene and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid food handler's permit from the local health department.
