About the role
The role involves managing dish washing operations in a food service environment, ensuring all dishes are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Organize and maintain dish storage areas to ensure proper inventory management.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards during all cleaning activities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize dish flow and reduce waste.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in dishwashing or similar food service roles preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures closely.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required for transportation of supplies.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Proficiency in using dishwashing machines and related equipment.
- Good organizational skills to manage dish inventory and schedules.
