About the Role

The Food Service Worker I (FSW-I) performs all non-cooking functions, including washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashiering, tray passing, loading carts, general cleaning, and receiving.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience in a service-related environment/industry

Skills and Abilities

• Maintains relationships with patients and customers to ensure quality satisfaction of food
• Courteous, considerate, and cooperative when communicating with patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel
• Able to work in direct contact with a variety of foods
• Able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
