Food Service Technician-Lead
About the Role
Demonstrates proficiency in all technical positions. Takes responsibility for routine operations when the supervisor is not on duty. Ensures tasks for all positions are completed as scheduled when the manager is not available. Directs the efforts of others, makes staffing adjustments to cover open positions, and assists supervisors with scheduling, task assignments, and special projects. Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Experience: 90 days experience in hospital food service
- Certifications: Washington Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire
- Ability to follow written directions and interpret selected menus
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and lead others to accomplish objectives without direct supervision
