General Summary

The Food Service Team Member is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the Food Service Station during their shift, following company policy. The role contributes to store profitability and growth while ensuring every customer’s needs are met. Employees are encouraged to think creatively to provide best‑in‑class service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all fresh made‑to‑order food items.
• Maintain self‑service food offerings, including coffee, fresh‑case items, dispensers, fountain machines, and the condiment center.
• Load product into fresh cases as needed.
• Operate the cash register and provide best‑in‑class customer service.
• Maintain high levels of sanitation throughout the station.
• Monitor inventory levels for freshness and availability.
• Stock back‑room, fill condiments, supplies, and rotate product by received date.
• Greet every customer with a smile, suggest purchases, and promote specials.
• Execute Nouria’s customer service program at the site level.
• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers; enforce environmental and hazardous‑material regulations.
• Maintain safety and security of the store; document accidents or incidents.
• Manage maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the store perimeter.
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support implementation of the Nouria Safety and Health program and promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Complete the new‑employee safety orientation procedure.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (gloves, hat/visor, apron).

Qualifications

• Understanding of general safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Knowledge of product and production processes; allergen and food‑safety awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Concern for personal and co‑worker safety; responsible attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Prolonged periods of standing and sitting at a desk working on a computer.
• Perform other related duties as required to maintain store cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness.

Pay

Starting rate: $18.00 per hour.
