This is your opportunity to lead and grow within our passionate Food Services Team. As a full-time Food Service Supervisor, you’ll work alongside a manager to coordinate operations, oversee staff, and contribute wherever needed—all while developing your skills and pursuing what matters to you.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain work schedules; may prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
  • Direct daily activities to ensure safe, high-quality food production in accordance with policies, procedures, and department requirements.
  • Maintain organized, hazard-free food storage and serving environments.
  • Ensure food items are served per menu specifications following Aramark policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes and regulations.
  • Conduct accurate weekly inventory; prepare orders as needed to support production.
  • Supervise and evaluate employees; provide counseling, promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
  • Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
  • Train and mentor other food service workers.
  • Maintain logs for equipment maintenance and complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions as necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checklists and recommend equipment replacements as needed.
  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager, including filling in for absent employees.
  • Oversee daily catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
  • Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
  • Attend food service meetings and maintain communication with staff (e.g., email, phone, inter-office mail).
  • Perform cashier duties as needed.
  • Promote positive public relations.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.
  • Must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year of employment.
  • Knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 to $27.00.
