Food Service Supervisor

Full-time, onsite position at Macon County Jail in Decatur, IL.

About the role

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated food service supervisor to our correctional team. As a food service supervisor, you will directly oversee the production and service of meals for incarcerated individuals, ensuring they have access to delicious, healthy food and vital social interaction at mealtimes.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations.
• Ensure all meals meet standards for quality.

Requirements

• Experience supervising multiple employees.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.

Qualifications (Nice-to-haves)

• An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• Food Handler’s certification.

Pay

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
