Food Service Specialist

About the role

The Food Service Specialist II is responsible for preparing and serving meals for our inpatient and residential facilities. This position will be a floater at our Lighthouse Services and Fort Supply.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving meals for inpatient and residential facilities
• Using items for cooking and baking; cutting and preparing meat, poultry, or fish
• Frying or roasting foods
• Directing others in performing simple and routine duties involving the handling and serving food and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area

Requirements

• One year of experience in commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation for the required experience

Qualifications

• Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary
• Must be able to pass an OSBI background check
• Must be able to pass a physical examination and meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and being able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds

Pay

Annual Salary - $32,500.00

Schedule

Primary Working Hours: 6:00am-2:30 or 9:30 - 6:00pm
