Responsibilities
- Prepare short-order and made-to-order foods
- Maintain Garde Manger for departmental feeding responsibilities
- Monitor food for quality, temperature, and flavor
- Correct any issues via tasting, portioning, and visual appearance
- Extend recipes to ensure proper yields and maintain meal costs
- Keep production and temperature records updated
- Report any problems to the Chef or Manager on duty
- Maintain refrigerators and freezers clean and organized
- Follow established sanitation guidelines
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Equal to completion of four years of high school or the equivalent
- A minimum of one year food service related experience required
- Experience with proper food safety/sanitation procedures preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP principles
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt for medical or personal reasons
Pay
Pay range: USD $16.47 - USD $23.41 /Hr.
