Food Service - Server / Food Service Aide
About the role
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Lead Server to join their culinary team at Cass Street Assisted Living in La Crosse, WI. The position serves 46 residents and includes various duties such as serving meals, bussing dishes, and assisting with common area cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Serve attractive meals that meet residents' dietary needs
- Buss dishes and perform kitchen and dining room cleaning duties
- Restock and set up dining areas
- Assist with inventory management, meal delivery, and preparation
- Assist with commons area cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and tidying
- Work flexible shifts including casual call times from 10:30am-6:00pm and 10:00am-6:30pm
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with seniors or in long-term care communities (preferred)
- Valid driver's license for meal transport (approved drivers must be 18+)
Qualifications
- Preferred: ServSafe certification or obtain within 90 days

Pay
The starting wage is between $16.00 and $19.50 per hour, based on qualifications, hours, and experience. Wages will be reviewed 100 days after employment.
Schedule
- Lead Server: 75 hours/2 weeks, Monday-Friday, occasional weekends
- Food Service Associate: 14-16 hours/2 weeks, Saturdays from 10:00am-6:00pm and 10:00am-6:30pm
- Casual Call Shifts: 10:30am-6:00pm and 10:00am-6:30pm
Communicable Disease Screening
All employees undergo a communicable disease screening before starting.
