Position Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with food service clients such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and catering companies.
- Recommend food products, ingredients, and equipment based on the client’s menu, budget, and operational needs.
- Generate sales, process orders, and ensure timely delivery of products while meeting sales targets.
- Stay informed on food trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to provide strategic product suggestions.
- Work with suppliers and distributors to source products, negotiate pricing, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Educate clients on product usage, storage, and preparation techniques to maximize value and minimize waste.
- Track sales performance, prepare reports, and forecast future demand to support business planning.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- Experience in food service, sales, or customer-facing roles within the hospitality or food distribution industry for 1-3 years.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food products, preparation methods, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
