Food Service Restaurant Crew

Major Responsibilities

• Assure the cooking and service area is ready for service
• Heat up grills and readies other equipment to be used
• Assemble food orders and/or cook foods as ordered
• Serves guests with courtesy and efficiency
• Cleans work area, utensils and related equipment
• Returns utensils, equipment and food supplies to storage area
• Assures that refuse is hauled away from area
• Implements sanitation and safety principles and regulations
• May assist in other capacities as required

Education And Experience

• Some High School
• Friendly and team oriented

Special Skills

• Knowledge of: Methods and equipment used in preparation and serving of outdoor and indoor food; Applicable sanitation and Health Department safety principles and regulations.
• Ability To Pass ServSafe Certification
• Use a variety of cooking utensils and equipment
• Train assisting personnel
• Deal with guests tactfully and promptly
• Work well under pressure
• Work independently yet in cooperation with others
