Food Service - Production Helper

Job Summary

Aid in food preparation. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain high food quality and portion control. Complete logs and records as needed. Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment. Keep work areas clean and organized according to health and safety standards. Attend training sessions and in-service meetings. Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
• Show good organizational and basic math abilities
• Show ability to multitask
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Show proficiency in food preparation
• Hold a Food Service Sanitation Certificate
• Be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds

Working Conditions

Reports to the Food Service Manager and Assistant Food Service Manager. Terms of employment are subject to negotiation between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
