Food Service Part Time Front of House

Job Duties

• Demonstrates IWCC’s core mission, vision and values
• Follows the guidelines, policies, and procedures set down by the Food Service Department
• Responsible for superior customer service practices
• Responsible for following the safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures set down by the Food Service Department
• Stocks the front of house for the next day business (i.e. clean dishes, refill condiments, re-stock sandwich bar, etc.)
• Affords assistance in catered events if assigned
• Affords assistance in front of house duties, when assigned
• Affords assistance in back of house duties, when assigned
• Washes dishes, equipment, small wares, etc., when assigned
• Responsible for closing procedures when working an evening shift
• Responsible for opening procedures when working a morning shift
• Responsible for weekend hours when scheduled by management
• Responsible for following dress code and appearance requirements set down by the Food Service Department
• Regular, prompt and reliable attendance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people
• Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer oriented team
• Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness
• Positive attitude

Physical Demands

• The employee frequently is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and use hands
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
