About the role
Cedar Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility in Westchester County, NY, is seeking a full‑time Food Service Manager to join its dynamic team. The manager will support the Director of Food Services during PTO and help maintain the facility’s top‑rated reputation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff to ensure compliance with federal, state, and sanitary regulations.
- Oversee purchase of food and supplies in accordance with planned menu cycles.
- Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Guarantee food is stored, prepared, distributed, and serviced under sanitary conditions.
- Prepare and post daily staff assignment sheets.
- Assist with meal ticket processing.
Qualifications
- CDM certification.
- Experience in long‑term care preferred.
- Culinary/cooking experience preferred.

Schedule
