Responsibilities

Affords assistance with the operational aspects of the Food and Nutrition Department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. Performs clerical support and duties essential for optimal patient care, including safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department and adherence to policies and procedures. Engages in a diverse array of patient and non-patient food service tasks, such as patient tray service and cafeteria/catering functions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required, effective July 1, 2017.
  • Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Two (2) years of experience in food service operations.
  • Ability to use PC.
  • County Specific requirement. County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.
