About the role

Assists with the day to day operations of the Food and Nutrition Department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies. Performs the clerical support/duties necessary for optimal patient care, including safety and efficiency of food prepared in the department and compliance with policies and procedures. Performs a variety of patient and non-patient food service duties, including, but not limited to tasks related to patient tray service and tasks related to cafeteria and catering functions.

Requirements

  • Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization within the first 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Two (2) years of experience in food service operations.
  • Ability to use PC.
  • County Specific requirement. County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in food service operations.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.43 to $25.24.
