Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and support in designated food service area of responsibility and is the go-to leadership in the absence of managers
  • Prepares department product for sale
  • Participates in establishing and maintaining an integral and collaborative environment
  • Assists in achieving quarterly financial goals with a focus on gross and labor
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, customers, corporate staff, and vendor community
  • Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout food service departments
  • Works closely with market staff to achieve timely completion of administrative tasks and operational functions
  • Assists in the hiring, training, and development of employees
  • Establishes and maintains a 360 feedback process including customers, staff, and leadership
  • Provides and role models excellent customer service
  • Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
  • Maintains departments in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
  • Establishes and maintains a culture of safety throughout all food service departments
  • Ensures food service compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Role models attitude of service to staff and customers
  • Keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
  • Ensures the dissemination of and adherence to all company and department policies
  • Supports and follows all safety/security policies and sustainability programs
  • Operates within the Company’s Core Values and Company Brand

Requirements

  • High level of food service product knowledge and enthusiasm for food, cooking, and nutrition
  • Must be a positive team player, leader, and positive role model that can effectively manage through change
  • Must possess a readiness to manage, train, and coach others
  • Detail oriented, organized with effective time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Critical thinker with a strong desire to develop proficiencies in: schedule writing, inventory management, ordering practices, and forecasting
  • Understands and upholds ready for business standards
  • Must possess an attitude of service to others
  • Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
  • Must have intermediate or higher computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, customers, and vendors
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Embraces 360 feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development
  • Displays excellent work ethic
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
  • Exemplifies health department standards
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • 18 years or older

Pay

Entry Level Compensation: USD $28.95/Hr.
Maximum Compensation: USD $29.95/Hr.
