Food Service Driver

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a detail-oriented, professional team player to support meal preparation, service, and delivery in a senior-living community.

About the role

The Food Service Driver assists the Dietary Aide/Cook in meal preparation and service, then packs and delivers food from the main kitchen to assigned units. They also help servers ensure a smooth dining experience for residents, wash dishes, and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen in accordance with health standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to residents using a company vehicle.
• Serve meals according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to adhere to time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
• Current ServSafe or State Food Safety Manager/Foodhandler Certification may be required as indicated by State/County law.

Pay

USD $18.00 – USD $20.00 per hour.
