Food Service Coordinator
The Andrew B. Ferrari Argus House is seeking a Food Service Coordinator to join our team. Argus House, operated by the Arlington County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, is a community-based group home that serves middle- and high-school-aged adolescents and young adults who are transitioning to independence. Our mission is to offer a behavioral and therapeutic residential program that fosters growth, while keeping clients close to their communities and away from the criminal justice system. A Food Service Coordinator is essential as proper meal planning, nutrition management, and daily family-style meals support residents’ physical health, emotional well-being, and development of positive social skills.
About the role
The Food Service Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, managing food preparation and serving, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management
- Valid Virginia Food Handlers Card

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with dietary software and meal planning tools

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
