Food Service Cook
About the role
Join the Avon Grove School District as a Food Service Cook and prepare and serve food in compliance with USDA and PA state health regulations to students in a cafeteria setting. You will work closely with the kitchen manager and/or Food Service Director on menu planning, production, and inventory control.

- Collaborate with the kitchen manager and/or Food Service Director on menu planning, production, and inventory control
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current ServSafe Certification
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- School meal preparation experience
- Knowledge of National School Lunch Program and its requirements
- Knowledge of HACCP procedures and requirements
- Proven effective communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
Pay
Competitive salary of $18.39 per hour (7.5 hours/day; 10 months per year—all student days).
