Qualifications
- High School Diploma
Responsibilities
- Participates in preparing a variety of foods, such as soups, salads, meats, vegetables, breads, and desserts
- Makes sandwich fillings and prepares sandwiches
- Sets up foods prepared for serving on counters and steam tables
- Serves food at mealtime and performs cashier duties as assigned
- Accurately accounts for food prepared and sold
- Operates various kitchen equipment
- Cleans kitchen equipment and area, scrubs counters, and cleans tables
- Stores and takes care of supplies
- Counts inventory when assigned
- Conforms to safety standards as prescribed
- Complies with professional code of ethics and school policies
- Attends staff meetings (as appropriate)
- Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Food Service Coordinator
