About the Role

Operates the restaurant point of sale system as the cashier, stocks restaurant supplies, ensures proper setup, cleans and stocks food inventories, maintains cleanliness of public areas, and delivers customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receives, prepares, and delivers customer orders efficiently.
• Performs simple and routine tasks related to food preparation and serving, including cleaning the kitchen area and cooking utensils.
• Operates the cash register and stocks restaurant supplies as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in the work area; promptly reports needed maintenance or equipment repairs.
• Maintains the cleaning and temperature log.
• Cleans kitchen areas, cooking utensils, and operates dishwashing, peeling, and other mechanical equipment.
• Sets up and serves patient trays.
• Carries dishes and foods between the kitchen and serving lines.
• Transports and stores supplies; washes and cuts vegetables and fruits.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• SERV Safe certification or equivalent: Preferred in CA and HI
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification: Required

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $25.00 to $29.56 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. A comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Schedule

Per Diem, 8-hour shifts.
