About the role
The San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for a part time Food Service Assistant.
- 4.0 hours per day Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bowditch Middle School
Responsibilities
- Learn and perform skilled food production work in the central kitchen to prepare and package food for distribution to satellite kitchens
- Learn and perform skilled work in a satellite kitchen to heat food, set up serving areas, serve and sell food
- Clean kitchen utensils, equipment and work surfaces
- Perform other related work as required
Requirements
- Food service test required; unless waived based on prior education and/or experience
Pay
- Pay range: $22.95 – $29.30 per hour
- Additional salary information: 10 paid sick days
Schedule
- Part time, 10-month calendar
