Schedule
This is a rotating part-time position with shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 9:30 PM. Candidates must be available to work a combination of the following shifts:
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Every other weekend and holiday rotations are required. Shift times may vary based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Assemble patient meal trays with care and accuracy, following dietary guidelines.
- Prepare trays for modified diets (e.g., pureed foods, thickened liquids).
- Operate dish machines and maintain sanitation stations.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in all kitchen areas.
- Monitor equipment temperatures and sanitation levels.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, including proper food storage and glove use.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform tasks like standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Pay
This position has a starting rate of $17.32 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $20.34 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.34 per hour.
