Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for safe food handling, including sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines, and HACCP plan.
• Complete cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menu options in accordance with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, print and distribute reports, tallies, menus, and meal tickets.
• Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking.
• Perform cafeteria duties as assigned, including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handlers Card.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling.
• Healthcare or restaurant experience.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders.
