Food Service Aide/Dietary Aide Full-Time

About the role

This hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. We help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives - and every team member plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services and dish room services.
• Be an integral part of food preparations, serving prepared food to patients, families, staff and visitors and assisting in clean up.
• Be timely and efficient when preparing food.
• Provide high quality food preparation and service.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
• Volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.

Pay

$15.50 - $18.90 per hour depending on years of experience.
