Food Service (16 years of age or older), Multiple Outlets

Responsibilities

• Assist the Zoo’s Food Service department with any and all responsibilities related to the food service department.
• Consistently provide positive interactions with Zoo visitors.
• Maintain proper zoo uniform standards.
• Additional duties may include working a cash register, taking orders, stocking, delivering, organizing food and beverage storage areas, assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, working the front line, and assisting the manager with any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• The team is dedicated, hardworking, and enjoys being part of an iconic and amazing institution.
• Prior customer service experience is appreciated but not required.
• Must follow basic fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to take direction from leaders and work independently when necessary.
• Flexible work hours are preferred, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work and maintain responsibilities on the Zoo grounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• All candidates must submit to a criminal background check.
