Food Server - Part Time

JOB SUMMARY

The Food Server is responsible for ensuring that all guests are provided with a memorable dining experience. Each team member ensures that the outlet is clean and organized and that the restaurant is ready on time every day to ensure that every guest is well taken care of in a fine dining environment. They are to follow instructions from our events leadership to ensure each guest is taken care of during their event.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely manner.
• Keep the area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Responsible for performing “responsible alcohol service” with regard to patron limitations and passing any/all responsible alcohol service training, if needed.
• Be able to carry serving trays full of dinner plates.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fine dining experience, preferably in a high-volume casino steakhouse, is preferred.
• Knowledge of wines, alcohol, and basic food knowledge is preferred.
• 6 months of prior work experience is preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
