Food Server

About the role

We’re a Japanese and French fusion restaurant in Cranford looking for servers to join our team. We’re all about great food, smooth service, and a relaxed but professional vibe.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and making them feel comfortable
• Taking orders and putting them in through the POS
• Answering questions about the menu (don’t worry, we’ll train you on the dishes)
• Running food and drinks to tables
• Checking in with guests and making sure they’re happy
• Cleaning and resetting tables between seatings
• Working with the kitchen and sushi bar to keep things moving smoothly
• Handling payments and closing out checks

Requirements

• Some experience waiting tables (not required, but it helps)
• Friendly, reliable, and comfortable talking to people
• Able to work well during busy shifts
• Team player who jumps in where needed
