Food Science Regulatory Analyst

Location: Hershey, PA | Remote contract (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• Review and proofread graphic/database content to ensure consistency with reference information.
• Apply analytical thinking to interpret data patterns and trends and use logical reasoning to assess data integrity.
• Utilize data validation techniques to cross‑check between different data sources, employing both automated and manual review processes.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate review of all information.
• Document any inconsistencies and analyze trends and issues for escalation to leadership.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Manage data, including logging errors or discrepancies and analyzing trends for escalation.
• Communicate with regulatory teams to ensure accurate product representation.

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience in the food industry, including regulatory, nutrition, or food science.
• Ability to manage multiple sources of information online.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and data‑validation skills.
• Basic food regulatory knowledge, graphic‑review knowledge, SmartLabel knowledge, data‑validation techniques, data management, logging, and tracking reviews.
• Experience with data‑validation tools or systems for regulatory review.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors.

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week, remote.
